Ed Sanders

Ed's family were the Brickles. At one time they owned what
is now downtown Miami. While in high school Ed had an
allowance of $50 a week which he received on Monday. By
Thursday he had blown it all and got another $50. The minimum
wage in those days was less than $1 an hour.
His family bought a 70 foot yacht that they took out once and
decided they didn't like it. They left it in it's moorings for years
until it rotted and sunk. His family also had thousands of acres
at the terminus of Kendall Drive. They decided to clear it themselves,
so they bought  three new D8 caterpillars. They cleared for a week,
got tired of it and left them to rust away on the property.
I loved their disregard for money.
